   "Four potent musicians, one powerful night to support ArtsRock. Plus an immersive pre-show experience in the Pitkin Room. Grammy Award-winning Laurie Anderson is one of America's most renowned - and daring - creative pioneers. Known primarily for her multimedia presentations, she has cast herself in roles as varied as visual artist, composer, poet, photographer, filmmaker, electronics whiz, vocalist, and instrumentalist. Martha Mooke is a Grammy Award-winning, pioneering electric violist/composer, highly regarded for her artistry, music advocacy, and innovative educational programs. Since 2001, she has performed in the Tibet House Benefit Concerts at Carnegie Hall produced by Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson performing with David Bowie, Philip Glass, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Phoebe Bridgers and many others. Grammy Award-winning Steven Bernstein has been on the New York scene over the past 30 years, as trumpeter, composer, arranger and bandleader with his bands Sexmob, Millennial Territory Orchestra, Diaspora Soul, Universal Melody Brass Band, Spanish Fly, Blue Campfire and the Butler-Bernstein Hot 9. A former member of the Lounge Lizards and Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble Band, Bernstein has also composed works for film, theater and dance. Tenzin Choegyal is an acclaimed Tibetan artist whose music bridges ancestral tradition and contemporary expression. Raised in exile and now based in Australia, he channels his lineage through his art-shaping powerful compositions and serving as an ambassador for Tibetan culture and stories. He is a regular collaborator with Laurie Anderson and Philip Glass, among others. John Schaefer is a longtime radio host and author on WNYC and WQXR. He's also the host and producer of New Sounds and Soundcheck". 
  Not mentioned, ArtRock is a non-profit organization. It's mission is to produce or sponsor arts, multi-cultural and entertainment programming for the benefit of diverse audiences in and around Rockland County. 
  Elliott Forrest Executive Artistic Director Elliott Forrest is a Peabody Award winning broadcaster and producer. He is currently heard on Classical 105.9FM WQXR and guest-hosts for Leonard Lopate and John Schaefer and on WNYC. He is the Executive Artistic Director of ArtsRock. He's produced at The Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center and scores of concerts, events and shows. He is the host and producer of the national radio concerts of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center; and hosts and produces regular podcasts for the New York Philharmonic; has been the 'voice' of CNN and LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER on PBS. For more than 12 years he was with the A&E Television Network as host of Breakfast with the Arts and Biography. 
  Shane Killoran Managing Director Shane received her B.F.A in Acting from New York University with a heavy concentration in Women's Studies. Realizing she enjoyed the rehearsal process far more than performing she set off to London where she pursued her post-graduate work in theatre including her Doctoral candidacy focusing primarily on Dramaturgy and Devised Performance. Upon her return from London, Shane produced televsion for several years before transioning full-time to Commications Management and theatrical work. As Resident Dramaturg and Literary Manager, she also served as Co-Creator and Dramaturg for the Private Theatre's site-specific production of Strindberg's Playing with Fire at The Box in NYC. She adapted and served as production Dramaturg for the Indian play Sakaram Binderat at MAD Playhouse Theater. In July of 2016, Nepenthe, a play centered around the brothel at Auschwitz, that Shane conceived, co-created, dramaturged and co-produced, premiered at the Women and War Festival in London, United Kingdom. Nepenthe was a 2021 grant recipient from the Jewish Heritage Fund. Shane was an artist-in-residence at the Marble House Project with the Private Theatre for Dramaturgy. With the mission to create and connect community through the experience of theatre and film programming Shane established Hit House Creative/Film in 2022. Hit House has partnered with Safe Harbors of the Hudson to launch the first-ever Newburgh Fringe Festival. The festival will feature 24-hours of interdisciplinary theatrical programming and workshops October 24-26, 2025.
